Will of Michael Stracener:
Know all men by
these presents that I, Micheal Stracener of Royal Township in the County of White and State of Arkansas, "Gentlemen", being in good health and sound and disposing mind and memory do make and publish this my last will and testiment, hereby _____ all former wills by me at any time heretofore made. I hereby constitute and appoint my sons, William Stracener and Jefferson Stracener, to be sole executioners of this my last will, directing my said Executors to pay all my just debts and funeral expenses, and the legacies hereinafter given out of my estate. 2nd To sell all of any property both real and personal at my death and make the distribution as hereinafter directed. After the payment of my said debts and funeral expenses, I give to each of my children as follows. To William Stracener $300.00. To Jefferson Stracener $300.00. To Hiram Stracener, $300.00. To Louis $300.00. To Jonathon Stracener $300.00. To Easter? (Ester) Stracener $100.00. To Elizabeth Seals $50.00. To Mary Stracener $100.00 to be paid to each of them as soon after my death __ but within one year as conveniently may be done and after the payment of the legacies aforesaid. I want the balance to be divided equally among my children aforenamed except Elizabeth Seals who is to have but the $50.00 above mentioned. In testimony whereof I Hereunto sit my hand and seal, and publish and declare this to be my last will and testiment, in the presents of witnesses named below, this January 5th day in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty five.
